It’s rare that a logo design actually describes what the organisation it represents does. Great idea, simple execution, very well done.
I agree that this is a brilliant logo, yet at the back of my mind, I also find it slightly disturbing. I think if I saw the image alone without the words “organ donation,” my immediate reaction would be to imagine pain. As if my midsection is being sliced out. The words tell me I’m supposed to feel the opposite, and it’s just as easy for me to have a positive emotional reaction to the image.
I think it’s the color red. If the logo were, say, blue instead, the thought of pain probably wouldn’t have crossed my mind.
Then again, I’m probably the only weirdo who would look at this logo and think “ow!”

I agree, it’s creative, and yea I KNOW it’s a male head but I kept thinking pregnancy/baby especially with a bow tied on top. I also agree that perhaps a different color might work better…
