“Television editor, Natalie Ebnet has worked on shows for networks including NBC, CBS and Discovery Channel. She needed a unique identity to distinguish her brand and demonstrate her services. We worked together to design a logo that’s as smart as it is simple.”

The more I look at it, the more it looks like clipart. I see nothing special here.

This looks more like an app icon than a logo. It doesn’t really communicate very well on it’s own. Without the title “TV Editor” labeling this, I don’t believe I would have understood what it was about.

While I like the image as a whole, I’m wondering if the color bars are a bit dated. What I mean by that is, do television stations even use these color bars any longer? I could be wrong, but I don’t think so. I think the idea is clever, but it seems that it needs something a little more to help really set it off.

I work at a TV Station and see the bars regularly.

I think the logo would be fairly appealing to most people. And it’s not for a large company so I think she can get away with it. Designers are probably the only ones who could/would pick faults with it.
