ok…There is great concept with use of negatice space, but for me the “A” gliph is way to bol and havy. It doesn’t corresponds with sophisticated and subtle image of wine. I don’t also like the typeface from which “A” was choen. Something more similiar to classic italian typeface Bodoni would be better. Or, some moern some serif font for nice contrast…

If the company is called Italco, I don’t understand what the big A is for.
Brad is totally right. Anyone can create an interesting logo if there’s no need for direct relevance. I love the use of negative space, but until someone posts why the A was used, I can’t completely be a fan of this.

Love the negative space … but don’t understand the large A as others have said.
using that negative space in A is a total cliche. There are better solutions made than this. I dont like drop of wine. drop of water is ok but not wine.

why the A ? and change the font ? . this needs more work
Great use of negative space, I saw the wine bottle and the drop immediately.
I thought it was kind of a weird ‘A’ but then I noticed the shape of the negative space. That’s always neat.
Can’t say I’m a lover of this. Maybe it’s because I didn’t immediately spot the wine glass and drop

Great idea but the typeface is not solid. Overall it’s still a good logo.
I agree with Brad.
The A is out of place and I never saw the pictures in the negative space. Sorry
It’s a great idea, but its not done.

good example of negative space, meanwhile i agree with Brad.

bored logo with out proportion, big drop (this could be oil, never wine), what means the A?, why is the name up there to the right?
sweet! very good logo
Wouldn’t it have been more appropriate to use the A from ITALICO (in all caps), rather than having the huge A separately which looks clumsy?
I do like the idea but I agree with Brad, the A has no link to the name of the product and I find the placement of the text all wrong
Big A? Not sure what is happening here.
“A” is a letter from logo “It Alco”. He can choose I or A for logo))
maybe the A is used because that was the only place where he could fit the concept already done for a russian brewer called Vinap. https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/????:Vinap_logo.gif
They are both russian so I really find it hard that he hasn’t seen that logo before. Maybe that is why this execution seems a bit “forced”??
oops! Wrong link https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/?????
jeez …these russian characters. We try again: https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%92%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B0%D0%BF
Here’s a favorite quote of mine from Ansel Adams, I find it appropriate for this logo:
“There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept.”
Please apply this logic to your next project, and continue to work on this one. It’s not dead, just need to start over.
