Avecs is a Dutch graphic design company. They specialize in web design and web development.

The word ‘avecs’ is given an own unique look by modifying the font. This was done to make the name more memorable. The symbol left of the name is an abstract eye. It’s the ‘eye for detail’, making sure the customer gets quality services and products. See it in use here.

the font is nice. Althou the lettering and the graphic item seem to be two seperate things. They are far and the name overwhelms the graphic. I had a feeling of “page loading” for the graphic item and I’m not a fan of the concept of it being an abstract eye.

good job on making the company name unique thou.

I agree with DChuck about the spacing between symbol and the name..
Although the eye is eye catching…

Kern that text, son! The image (to me anyway) does not come off as an eye, let alone an eye for detail. Looks like Logo Class 101 to me.

To be the “eye” makes me think more of the Blender logo than an eye. That or I see a “d” in the negative space. Other than that, I like this logo.

I don’t really like the idea of having to explain a design for people to “get it”… especially for a design company. Also, what is with modifying the ‘v’? I think it was just an unnecessary gesture.
