In regards to the logomark, I’m a huge fan of iconic images incorporated into type. Very clever, and very well executed. +1 in agreement with the hint of graffiti rebelliousness attribute in the type.
The use of the lemon as the U is really well done. I love logos that use a solid outline and then fill with color. This allows it to be converted to black by simply removing a color. It’s fresh and really conveys a ’sour’ feeling. Well done. I really like this logo.
The only thing I don’t like are the cookie cutter packages you/they are offering on their site. ~$130 US for a logo and ~$50 US for Business Card, Letterhead and Envelope. You should pick up a copy of “Graphic Artists Guild Handbook : Pricing & Ethical Guidelines”
Not a fan. Using anything in the place of a letter is only acceptable if there can be no doubt what the letter’s supposed to be. I guess it can’t really be anything other than a “U”, but if even 1% of the target audience can’t see the U, then it fails.

I like this one with the graffiti-ish font and lemon slice – the sour aspect comes through on a couple of levels. Pretty nice work!
