“The team at LaunchWare, a web and software development agency, take pride in helping their clients succeed. In turn, we wanted to help them by building a new identity that is professional and relatable, yet modern and unique. When a logo causes a viewer to do a double-take and think twice before passing it by, that’s considered a win in our book. The solution for the mark activates the negative space, giving two sides to the mark that come together to define the brand. In the positive space sits a strong, confident initial that grounds the logo, while in the negative space a rocket launches — a metaphor for the new heights to which LaunchWare carries their clients’ projects.”

Another great mark from alphabet arm. One of my favorite firms to follow because they always deliver memorable, appropriate logos with strong typography.
The rocket is too subtle I reckon. Unless someone is looking at the logo for the sake of looking at it (like we are) I think most people will pass by it.
Great work. I tend to agree with Chris a little. think the rocket could have been a bit more prominent. But great work none-the-less.
I see the negative profile of a chicken. A really weird thing to do to an ‘L’… The negative shape must be immediately recognizable. Unfortunate ‘inside the box’ thinking and not exactly nice to look at either. C-
I agree with Chris.
I had no idea it was a rocket. I also first saw a bird’s head profile(with two wonky eyes on the same side?) and then though maybe it was supposed to be a microscope or something.
I like it. Maybe isn’t most obvious when looking at it first time. But along with the name, I think it is then quite clear.
Agreed – it takes too long to “find” the wonky-chicken-rocket – make that more prominent & BAM!
