Cute! It looks intriguing and catches the eye well on their promotional material (with the explanatory “Dublin Writers Festival” text beside it).
Not sure that i really get this mark at all. Can someone help me out here?
I came back to this a few times over the last few days waiting for the “Aha!” moment of revelation, but alas none has come. I don’t get this. If the stylised “W” out of punctuation marks is the whole thing – I don’t think it’s strong enough to be on its own.

Not everything in logos is about ‘aha’ moments. Having worked for a mere 4 years I can tell you, searching for clever logos are often too easy, can lead you in the wrong direction needed and can cheapen design as a practice.
This logo was presumably but up by an admirer and is possibly out of place on this type of network which really serves for clever logos and instant gratification.

This is an interesting logo to say the least. It is very eye catching, but without any wording or explanations it does leave one guessing as to what it is all about.
