Paul Hampton Photography
I like it. It’s Clean, simple, and very modern. The only thing I find questionable is the “PH” in PHOTOGRAPHY. Although it’s underlined, I don’t think it strongly conveys “Paul Hampton”. Maybe “PH” would communicate stronger if it were bold or possibly a different shade or color? Just some thoughts… Nevertheless, I like it.
No graphic ? Just text ? No uniqe font or just initials ? I don’t know what to say.
I really like the letter spacing and leading, and the way it works from 1/3, 2/3, then 3/3’s.
But, it’s a little boring, and the line under the PH is unecessary. I didn’t even see it at first, then I though “phone?”.
This is not a logo. “designers” avoiding actually designing anything by hiding under the excuse of minimalism and simplicity really need to look back at paul rand’s and saul bass’s work. You can be simple and still creative.
I think this is very creative and memorable logo.
If you like Pauls and you like Hamptons, this is the logo for you!
maybe a bit of a drop shadow would help
The line underneath make me read PH Otographer.
PH is the acidity measurement of an aqueous solution. I get that.
No idea what an Otographer is.
I’ve just been sick all over my drawing board.
Phucking Phish (sorry pish)
I absolutely love it and was well chuffed with it the moment I saw it. Thanks D8.
Seen it on PH website and I think it works great, effective logo, memorable and clever.
Waste of a great opportunity.
Guys, the PH stands for Paul Hampton, it’s a clever play on the PH in PHotographer, and PH (Paul Hampton). I think it’s kind of clever if you think about it deeply enough. It is super simple, but perhaps that’s what the client’s vision/direction was. Way to go, designer.
