that’s a label, not a logo.
Total agreement with theo.
This is very attractive. However, in my opinion the name “Pasta Girl” demands a more contemporary treatment. The illustrated woman is very nice but has a more classic, 1940s look to it. Same with the type treatment, which I otherwise think is handled very well. Maybe some slight kerning adjustment between the “A” and the “S”?
Just my opinion. I think the craftsmanship is very nice. I love the colors. The overall look is beautiful, just not fitting the name. If only the name were “Pasta Ragazza (Italian for girl)”
Not a logo? Lol! How is this not a logo?? I think its time I quit advertising.
The styling might not suit everyone’s taste, however considering the story behind the LOGO, I think the traditional heritage style suits the brief exceptionally well. Packaging looks fantastic.
The logo has a very very old school feel to it so I can understand why some of the guys said that this is not a logo. I personally think that it would work better on things like packaging as well – but each to his own I guess.
Reprint that sucker at 1″x 1″ and I’ll tell you why it fails as a logo.
It’s beautiful packaging but it’s not an effective logo.
