This logo is something different. I am not really fond of placing images inside text in a logo, but understanding the use of this one I think it is effective.
I like it, definitely different. Does it break every logo “rule”? Yes but who cares? I admire something different. You have to understand how this logo is going to be used. It’s not going on letterheads or screen printed a thousand times. It’s for an exhibition, not a brand identity for a company/business. good work!
I like it too. MTV has been doing the photo inside the font lately, and I instantly thought of that logo, But I think the original design is strong enough to stand on it’s own, picture or not.
It also has potential for various applications, with different pictures.
