It looks quite good bit it needs some textual support.
It could work for many other applications too, so it´s not representative. So, it´s talking about any sound related stuff, and i guess sound is a too big concept and not the unique concept to communicate here
I really like it! I can see the N, W and S in the wave. I also love how it represents the sound wave. Really nice idea.
How did you come up with the logo? If there were no explanation, I wouldn’t know how it relates.
This logo is actually quite phenomenal. Just looking at it, seeing the NWS, almost to good to be true symmetry, knowing it’s for Miami orchestral academy and that the building is designed by Frank Gehry, is enough to grasp the concept, direction and beauty.
But to truly fall in love with it, you must watch this video.

love the icon but without text it has no relevancy or association
The NWS is quite clear indeed and love the swirl kind of look. Nice logo, thanks for sharing.
I agree that without text support this logo is lacking clarity. However, the NWS in the swirl is good. Additionally, the sound wave and stylized S represent written music. Great inspiration and execution, but it has to accompany the name!
