Great use of negative space! I also really like their ‘Twyst’ and ‘Mystery Islands’ marks
hmmmm…. i have to say, i see “ICONK”
Indeed a great use of negative space.
I really like this logo. Great work by the designer.
The same, I’ve just read “ICONK”
I like it. Though it really seems “ICONK”, the dot “reveals” the i. At least to me.
i’ve always found that if you’re going to use negative space, you should stick to what’s expected in the space. i.e. i’d use negative space for ICONIC given the spelling is conventional, but when the spelling is shaken up, relying on negative space makes the interpretation and recognition factor more difficult and challenging to the viewer.
Yep, it seems like “ICON K”. Altough I quite like the use of the negative space, the I should be more recognisable.
This is a good wordmark an I did read Iconik so it works for me but from reading above it looks like a focus group would have been a good idea to garner an opinion on it’s readability.
