Three former competitors with long experience of prawn fishing teamed up to form Coldwater Prawns of Norway to have a joint sales and marketing company. The company’s boats account for about 80% of all shrimp that are caught by the Norwegian ocean-going vessels. Coldwater Prawns of Norway enters the future with one of the finest, purest and healthiest product in the world. The company were also recently announced Official Associated Member of Bocuse d’Or.

A simplified clean shape of the product it self. The orange shape of the prawn (shrimp), used along with clean light blue background colours. In five years the joint sales and marketing company went from aprox. 45% market share to 80% last year.

i like the “tension” of this design… btw that shrimp shape could be anything outside Norway…

Cold water suggests blue to me, not orange. I know they turn a lovely orange colour on a bbq – I’m from New Zealand so it’s a weekly feast for me at this time of year – but I think the colour choice doesn’t quite fit. There’s something a bit too obvious about this logo for me but a better effort than most so excuse my ‘critique’.

Yeah i agree with above comment. This logo feels too warm to be called coldwater prawns. Nice graphic though!

I like the design of the prawn, but I think some of the circles could have been just a tad larger in the lower body section before it hits the tail.

All in all a great design and easy for print production too!
