Pinup Girl Espresso is a local chain of mainly drive-thru coffee shops with, you guesses it, sexy pinup style girls to serve the coffee with bright smiles on their faces, and in summertime, not a whole lot else. It’s not trashy, as you might be thinking. It’s just another throwback to the 1930’s gimmick to sell a product while giving the clientele something to gawk at while enjoying their favorite cold or hot coffee drink. …and the coffee really is some of the best around …really.

So, it’s like a Hooters for coffee? Strange concept… but I loooove the logo. I think it’s adorable and not exploitative or offensive.
I hope they’re not going to loose the ring with the text too soon …
It is a nice logo, but does it really say coffee without the brown ring an espresso, it says where are the bunny ears. Though im not knocking the mark, just needs to read coffee more, the ring says beer and steaks.

Great work Rod, well executed – I’d disagree with the point about it needing to “say coffee.” The Nike logo doesn’t say sneakers, the ABC logo doesn’t say television, etc etc
