@maciek The liquid presented in the top half of the glass at the brim suggests that the glass is “half full” as opposed to “half empty”.

thanks daniel, but at the end of the day isnt it the same? you still not gettig your glass topped up nicely no matter how optymistic the bartender is ;^•
@maciek “half empty” is what pessimists say while optimists say “the glass is half full”. It’s commonsense in the vernacular and the concept is working with it.
Good concept, nice execution!

This is the type of logo you slap yourself in the face and wonder “Why the hell didn’t I think of that”. Great concept and nice on the style. I keep coming back to look at it.

Does anyone else agree with me that it doesn’t matter how witty the concept, unless the logo is used in the real world then it doesn’t carry any weight?
Its a funny pun and i get it, but in terms of branding its a terrible name and not actually very visually memorable. If i owned a large drinks business i’d find this idea way to whimsical to actually go for (See Schwepps, Diageo).
@Daniel The logo works.
Only because the fuss around it. There are people who love it and people who think it’s stupid.
Being controversial is the best marketing for kickstarters.

@daniel – it’s for a craft brewery, which is getting more and more playful with branding like the wine industry has. this isn’t a PepsiCo or the ilk. it doesn’t have to be a diageo or unibrou to get market traction among its fans. logos and identities can be fun in the beverage industry.

100+ thumbs up! i love how the logo took the saying literally!
though honestly, I’ve always wondered how a glass could be half-empty and this logo answered my question to some degree, but that’s another story.
Great concept!
I so like this
What a great idea!
absolutely superb
Absolutly wonderfull ! I love it !
maybe i am a bit slow or just tired but could anyone explain it to me why is the glass half empty?
how it supposed to be optmistic?
Nice illustration!
I really like the idea – it conveys the message very well I think. Well done!
This is brilliant.
