Why not good? I like it. The concept isn’t exactly brilliantly creative, but the execution is spot on.
However, when I looked at it in use, I do think it starts to take on other (snake-like?) connotations, in that they separate it from the type. Not that that’s bad, though.

I like it but it reads as cork crew
Absolutely wrong typography… “S” is good idea around logo should be build. Just find the font that will blend with “S” better.
