Why monochromatic circles? For that matter, why circles? The typeface is much too thin, and I'd opt for something more playful and/or interesting. I'd put "the new" above "children's museum," make it smaller and possibly a different color or even a different typeface. So much potential for a dynamic logo, yet so boring!
