When I first saw this, it reminded me a bit of the Obama campaign logo layout. Anyone else feel that way? It doesn’t really draw any strong emotion from me. I see a coffee bean in the center, some fields, not sure where the “shared” part comes in.
I agree with Thomas, it reminds me of the Obama logo as well. It does not jump out at me and leave me remembering it. It needs something to make it POP.
I thought the exact same thing when I first saw this. Its got pretty much the same layout as the Obama logo. Amy is right, it really has no “POP” to it.
too many trademarks and boring
I have been designing things for many years now. I still, to this day, do not know what POP is.
I agree – I see Obama08 in this as well. Also, I agree with the 3 trademarks taking away from the flow and overall appeal. And Dan, I had a chuckle at your comment. I agree \POP\ is such a nebulous word. Thank god it’s largely a thing of the past. I haven’t heard someone use it in a long time.
