I can’t tell you exactly why, but I don’t like this one. It doesn’t speak to me at all.
Would an octogon not be more relivant?
I like it a lot. Colours work well and I can partially agree with Bishop’s ink about the octogon, although, why I wouldn’t have it is it might be too fussy and you end up with a little too much going on inside a small space.
Overall, I like the concept, but the average person would just read it as “8.” As designers, we can instantly see both the F and the *, but I’m guessing that the average customer might not.
Clever concept, but not a huge fan of the colors chosen.

i don’t get it y it’s in a hexagon?? it’s there a particular reason for that? cuz it’s got no link with F8 or camera, shutter or photography or watever.
