Not bad, but haven’t we seen the 8-turning-into-two-characters thing somewhere else recently? On LogoLounge maybe, I forget…

I can’t tell you exactly why, but I don’t like this one. It doesn’t speak to me at all.

Would an octogon not be more relivant?

I like it a lot. Colours work well and I can partially agree with Bishop’s ink about the octogon, although, why I wouldn’t have it is it might be too fussy and you end up with a little too much going on inside a small space.

Overall, I like the concept, but the average person would just read it as “8.” As designers, we can instantly see both the F and the *, but I’m guessing that the average customer might not.

Clever concept, but not a huge fan of the colors chosen.
