Plumber Ian Lightfoot required an identity to set him apart from the competition. Cheshire-based designer Raphael Mahon helped by creating this simple, relevant, and memorable logo with an accompanying stationery set. See in use over on Logo Design Love.

Nicely done. Maybe a water droplet for the colored icon? I wonder how it would test with consumers?
Excellent logo!
I first recognized the half circle to be dome style sink with the remaining “i” to be the piping.
Shortly there after I realized it was a plunger.
Nice logo but I at first thought it was a lamp until I read the description. I don’t feel it communicates effectively enough on it’s own for consumers to associate the logo with plumbing. Unless his van or business card etc will actually have “Ian the plumber” written on it? If that’s the case then I’m sure people will go “ah” it’s a plunger!
Nice logo. I saw the plunger right away.
Nice logo. It’s very clean and simple.
simple, “swiss” and elegant. I agree, with Heinrich, is there a tagline that goes with it?
I like this one. It is simple, and it works in my opinion. Different.
