Overall this logo looks great. If I start to tear apart this logo. There are two things that stick out to me. Number one. The letter “E” in the word eight for some reason does not match the rest of the fun characters. Maybe it’s because there is a space. Or the formation of the letter. Number two. The number eight in the center of the word eight which is colored gray for some reason it annoying to me maybe because it stands out too much from the rest of the logo. Overall I think the concept is great and instead of showing the letter G. the designer show number eight show the number eight. Again I think this is a great logo has great potential.
This concept seem to be see in others gallery as well.
Gr8 logo concept!! Greying out the “g/8″ may be a little overkill. People get it without having to reinforce it.
Really like this, the g as 8 is really clever Agree with the previous comment, the g/8 does not need to be a different color, the form is strong enough on it’s own.

Love this. Saw it a while back on the site and it fits perfectly. Not sure what @nickdaniel was saying at the end of his post, since the G is clearly an 8.. ah well. Awesome stuff.

nice logo but where is the development side?
I think some of the criticizing comments are a bit too stuffy or legalistic. I think it is creative and fun. Also, if the g/8 is not emphasized it may not be noticed (it is an important aspect of the company name and needs some identity.
