This business is dedicated to providing custom fine finish carpentry. Residential and commercial customers are provided with trim carpentry and architectural details of the highest quality. Client wanted a basswood tree represented in the mark blending the image with a celtic knot. The finished mark also has a feel of a wood inlay, a high quality, precision skill.

Love the mark, not so much the text layout.
Great logo, pitty the website lets it down and loses the high quality feel.
Nice detail!
Nice way to blend client’s wishes with good taste. I like it, including the typography. The website version would look better if it were a transparent gif or png. Also, if they had a horizontal version of the logo to fit their low-tech layout.
They didn’t even use the text layout OR font. This logo was never really used.
Of course, this is pretty common, what can designers do to help their work become fully utilized?
The logo was put to good use on my business cards, etc. The website is a very primitive DIY thing that looks like it was built by a carpenter… because it was.
An improved version will be forthcoming as my budget allows… carpentry is not a very robust enterprise in the current economy… so I do what I can, with what I have.
Cheers,
Brian
very sophisticated… not sure with the typography selection and usage.
Hey Brian, Good work on the website if you did it yourself mate. I can’t wait to see the new designs when business picks up – what goes down must come up…right?
Cheers,
Rob
