who knew a bézier curve could make it as a logo. very interesting. It might have been nice to see the type treatment interact with the curve. It’s fun seeing something we see everyday incorporated into a logo. I’m sure the folks at Adobe are proud to see their baby all grown up.
Very creative logo, superb. Despicts Designing with Vector handles and 2nd quadrant quarter-circle.

I really am in love with the Bezier curve. I wonder if the icon falls short in understanding of the average person in need of graphic design. Lost on the average Joe.

Can’t help but think that this speaks more to the designer’s peers than to the designer’s clients.
Sorry, but if this was one of my guys, I’d send it back. It’s just design for the sake of design, no benefit, no solution, just masturbation. The designer should always ask, in this case: what does Curve do? What solutions are they offering, what kind of client are they helping, what problems can they solve. Or is all they do, Bezier curves?
Design is not just about aesthetics.
This logo has all the aspects of an effective logo, except for one, that is being distinctive.
I have to agree with Marc’s comment. The curve is too specific. Sure,we designers know (or should know) what a bezier curve. But clients more than often don’t. And I think that makes it less effective.
The logo does go with the name, but I think it needs “something else”.

Great name for a design studio, however disappointing logo. I agree with Marc & Daniel here, this logo is targeting the wrong market.
All the designers are laughing, everyone else doesn’t see the joke.

I like it, however I agree that the audience might not “get it”.
If the company was called Curve 7 (or something with a 7 in it) and the bezier represented the number 7, then it would be far more functional and relevant.

I get the bezier thing but at first glance I am reminded of math and geometry- not sold on it but that’s just my opinion-

Very good execution. I like its simplicity and how it is different from the pencil trend.

Very good indeed, the curve and the feel of pen tool, all blends very well.
