I like the way it looks and its simplicity but I do agree that it looks very similar to the 'A' in the 'EA' logo:

http://retronomics.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/ea.jpg

And the Academy of Art University logo:

http://www.learninghelpline.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/academy-of-art-university-logo.gif

Not to take credit away from you, Anthony, just an observation. Nice work though!

Does anybody else see the Academy of Art University logo here? It's pretty close. Just underline it and it matches.

Personally I think this logo is beautifully simple and works really really well.

I don't associate it at all with EA/Adobe - It's a great, recognizable identity.

5 out of 5.

TR, this is hardly adobe. Thanks.

Actarus, I am aware of EA, and it hadn't even crossed my mind until 2 months after me designing this. I think they can stand apart as this isn't the EA logo, and has nothing to do with video games, and isn't even in the same realm. Thanks though.

I am not sure why this logo got such negativity as I really like it. The simple design is nice and bold and the concept is not overly clever so the point isn't missed while the A shape has an original form. Great logo.

Lovin' it! Great use of form and negative space. Always loved these simple yet poignant examples of logo design. Think of how easily translatable this is to so many media/materials. Well done.
