I agree with Carson in that the retro look is coming back. However, I think they could have emphasized the contemporary look of the logo by keeping it more horizontal, and making the doodle smaller.
Thumbs up, I personally would have gone with a thinner stroke on the color to make it seem pencil like but that’s just personal preference.
