This logo has a long story and in fact was awarded some times (also published in on of Logo Lounge volumes). Anyway I know that sometimes it is hard to get the point at the very beggining - what is the heart and what are those "circles" which actually refer to the shape of hurricane on the aerial view (satellite). The idea was to catch the possibility of transforming the disaster to something beautiful like showing our hearts and help the victims of Katrina hurricane.
