It’s a strong design with a good concept. I agree, it looks better against a black background. I probably also would have opted to have the “Company” text beneath the rest of the text.

This logo is usually shown at the start of movies, against a black background. On white i can see how it’s confusing, but on black the ’spotlight’ theme is immediately recognizable.

I agree with Steve; at first look I saw a v and a w. I do see the spotlights, but I think this could be better.

I didn’t see spotlights when i first looked at it, maybe if it was a reversed out logo that idea would work better. Also I don’t understand the middle V, if it ended where the outer two did then i would see it as overlapping but at the moment I read a V and then a W.

I don’t like it. The type is ok, but the symbol lack creativity.
I’ve seen better logos around here. Sorry.

I think it’s great – it has the whole ’spotlights on opening night’ feel to it while also making a ‘W.’
