I want to like this, but don't. The overlay is too dramatic and intense, taking away from the concept and driving emotion instead of function. I agree ONCE I READ THE BRIEF that Paranoid and Naive are there emotionally, but there's no connection to it when seen unexplained. To be honest I couldn't even make a suggestion for a tweak. I think the concept would have needed a dramatic re-work.

Incidentally, I came across it from the "Left Right" logo that has this as a "related" piece, thus the delay. I hadn't seen this one before.

I think the logo could work as an identity in that it could be recognisable and people would know what it said through recognising the identity rather than reading the logo. It is very difficult to read but I do quite like the design.

Aah come on... doesnt work at all... even if you dont mind about readability. Tell me how to reproduce this one in a small size? The thin strokes will disappear.

I really really like this logo. What I like is the colors, the concept, and the font choice.

I agree with all of the comments that it isn't legible, so that might need some updating (or simplification).

Don't agree with all the readibily comments…

I think it is beautiful, strong, different, appealing…

So it's not readable? And?

It can function like a brand, a strong visible sign that cleary identify a society. It is the definition of a logo, isn'it?

The concept is good but as many have already said it's very difficult to read at first glance and that's really what you need to be able to do. For me you should either be able to read it the first time you look at it or it should make you take a second look and without too much effort (no effort at all is no fun:P) decipher what is written.

I think the possibly changing the colours used would help ease the legibility. May be these can help with colour inspiration?

Sure it's difficult to read but really goes well with the theme, paranoid and naive. Isn't design about speaking your personality.

Impossible to read? No. But very difficult? Absolutely. I needed the caption to know what it said, so its not an effective logo at all. I like Deanaux's idea of a possible animation, it would be pretty sweet, but as a stationary logo, its a failure, in my book.

Wow, yea, that is difficult to read! I seem to remember MOMA or some other contemporary museum using a similar style, where it has really extreme color contrasts. I didn't like that one either. Maybe a little too avant garde for me? But I would agree with the rest of the comments, kind of the point of a logo is to be able to read it. It might stand out in a crowd though...

impossible to read? difficult maybe but not impossible. I like it. Even the typeface itself adds to the contrast/contradiction, being half hairline.
