I think if you just put a little more space between the letter and the dash/space it would read clearly... currently the face looks like it has the same spacing as the letters, causing the confusion. The choice in font was good, though the tear drop element probably should have just been a continuation of the letter instead (positive/negative space). This logo has some potential if re-worked.
