Really nice. Is this fairly new? I’m certain I’ve seen another Rip Curl logo in the past…not this, I would have remembered this.
This one’s been out as long as I can remember, at least where I live. I have always loved its simplicity.
It’s definitely an awesome concept – the simplicity of it requires a lot more thought than a lot of very complex logos out there.
I think Rip Curl uses several logos. I bought a Rip Curl wallet not long ago, and the logo on the wallet and on the business card within were different. I took a picture to show you. The one on the business card is a variation of the one above, but with a better execution and a cooler font (IMO).
Quite nice concept with both the “R” and the “C” and nice illustration too.
Rip Curl have changed there logo many, many times throughout the years. Nearly every season they’re out with another version. This is their official mark, well… I assume it is. Its been on their official headquarters in Torquay (home of Rip Curl) for a very long time. Great logo.
