I agree with binocle, very elegant. Really like the use of typography.
Beautiful mark, the bird and colors are graceful. But I’m left wondering what the missing bar in the A is meant to convey? My eye goes right there and I’m puzzled. I think the bar would improve it. I didn’t even notice that the bird was also a U because I was immediately on to the missing bar of A.
My mind and eyes went exactly where Douglas B.’s did. I’d like to see a version with the bird replacing the letter U altogether and with the bar on the A. It’s still an impressive logo. One of the best I’ve seen so far.
