2009-09-02 | Harvest Archiving

Harvest Archiving is a software product in the CRM realm. The logo is for digital application only (at the moment). The logo is derived from an inspirational picture of a wheat bale. The colours are chosen from the image and the dynamic movement in the logo is to indicate the dynamic process of harvesting: sowing, nurturing, gathering and storing.

Design process.

I am not sure what this loop mean? Is this the harvest? The arrangement of objects look strange a bit. I like the colors though

I think it’s a mix between a flower and a field…

The form of it reminds me of a flower, but the colors look more like a field of wheat.
Anyhow, the arrangement looks kinda displaced – but overall it’s a beatiful logo :)

I love the mark! Great take on a timeless metaphor. I wonder if this wouldn’t look better with a global center justification. The text offset creates a bit of tension with the rotating center of gravity in the wheat. This looks like it wants to be balanced. Archiving could almost symbolize earth, where we store next years harvest as seed, if this was all lined up vertically…my two bits! Great colors, and great motion in the mark…
