I like it. Simple and elegant. It would still work perfectly just in black on white. I like how the 23 is shaped into an interesting butterfly, but it isn’t glaringly obvious either. Though, the head kind of reminds me of the neck of a swan.
The subtle use of a drop shadow makes it stand out from the back in this context, but it is subtle enough that it could easily be removed.
The typography is highly legible and simple. I like that it draws the attention but not until after I have admired the symbol.

Stunning work! This is one logo that just made me go “oh, wow!” I love how the 23 is so subtle!

Like Chris said- simple, elegant, highly visible. The typography does seem a little overwhelmed, unbalanced.
It’s a fantastic design.
