I agree with him. this is nothing special really. could just as well have been an icon on a stock website. pretty nice font, but i dont know about the sizing though…

Good concept, but the ‘1′ could have been a little more visible. Nice font.

I’m sorry, but the first thing I thought of when seeing the 1 of this logo was a dildo.

This it’s a nice idea the 1 is just a bit missing in the design. You don’t really see it at first.

There is a C and a 1 but I don’t really like how they interact together.

Cuddos for the concept thou

It didn’t even register that it was a c and a one. At first glance it looked like a nematode or some sort of worm. Then I was wondering why the arrow was missing half of its head. Logo fail.

I think it’s great. I got what it was right away.

OK font but no idea at first about the logo, just thought it was a weird sort of vegetable. Doesn’t work for ma at all…

The idea of C + 1 is ok to me, but as ray said this “could just as well have been an icon on a stock website” (too true – the company I work for is in stock industry, and I have seen too many upward arrows in green in stock/trading/investing sites) Sure the arrow is not proprietary to financial industry, but the visual of this logo is just not impressive.

I also thought .com.au should move to under ONE, then visited the careerone site and sew that version, it did felt better.

And, while it is good that the stroke of C changes width gradually, why is the 1 not doing the same, and what happens to the connecting point – why different width, not smooth?

Good use of font though.

This logo definitely caught my eye, but as other have also pointed out the “1″ could have been much more better.

Not as bad as some here are saying. Though I did think “Recycling” at first glance.

@tcanny – Using “fail” is such a lack of imagination in itself that you should feel embarrased. I mean this is a creative site and that is the most uncreative remark anyone could make. I hope you were looking in the mirror when you typed that out on yer keyboard.

Even knowing what it’s supposed to be, it still looks like some kind of fishing hook or worm. Or that other thing, like rologica said. Not liking the font either because of how ‘one’ is squished.

No way! This got through? No offense but just because one of the judges Australian and this logo’s Australian doesn’t mean they get in directly without discretion.

This logo just doesn’t work at all. Just like Rey said, this just looks like stock graphics. Nothing special about this and definitely should not have been in this site. I bet there are others yo guys didn’t consider yet are way way better than this.
