For someone who didn’t go to school for design, I’m pretty impressed with his website. I like the logo. It’s basic, and shows exactly what it is. Good job.

I like the art, I like the font but I think the smile is too much.

It looks unnatural… and kinda creepy. I’m afraid this girl was an orphan brutally murdered and seeking vengence on all men for the pain she endures… and she is smiling while choking the life out of a school principal…

Maybe I watch too much movies… but still, the smile creeps me out!

Other than that, I simply love this logo!

I disagree with DChuck the smile does a perfect job on complementing the hair without the smile it would look incomplete. Other than that I love the font and the whole logo was done very well.

Wow, happy and surprised to see this one made it. Thanks to whomever submitted it.

@DChuck… You know, I sort of see what you are saying. I was actually looking at it yesterday and was wondering what I could have done with the smile to make it a little better. I think it being white on top of a dark background contributes to the way you see it. On my website I have it on top of white and it doesn’t come across this way as much.

Thanks for the kind words so far, everyone else.

I’m no logo expert, but vector characters are one thing I do dabble in.

Like Kelly said, I think it would look more innocent if it were a bit smaller. Perhaps just narrower (as in less wide, not thinner.) Maybe even take from anime and do a little open-mouthed ‘D’ type smile? xD

Also, I think part of the reason she might look devious is because you can’t see her eyes. It creates kind of a “hooded villain” effect. But I don’t think you really need to change that. Just an observation.
