Not one of my favorites. It’s like one of those pictures on the wall in the waiting room at the dentist’s office. You know the one…. at first glance it looks like a bunch of squiggly lines, but when you squint your eyes you can see that it’s really a sentence.

At first glance it looked like a shopping cart…

Pardon me for my going against the flow, but I didn’t see nothing in this logo except for the name in a sloppy font.

I don’t really like it. I don’t think the I and L mix well together. I’d also like to see something else, something original in this, which I don’t.

IMO it is not completely unsalvagable, but there is a lot of work to do.

Sorry, but it looks somewhat helpless and imbalanced.

His Web site is a lot better, actually. Looking at the logo, it doesn’t represent the beautiful work and illustrative quality.

WOW, fierce criticizm. I hate to add to it but there is a spelling mistake somewhere in your name.

His name is “Isaac”

Not issac as you have typed.

I think this logo is a good approach. I like it. The only thing I have a problem with is the “e”. I think the arm is too long. Also the “s” can be improved. It doesn’t match the rest of the letters.

Other than that, I think its a good logo.

Wow, you guys are harsh. I think it’s actually pretty good – especially in context on his site.

I agree with Marc, I like his website a lot. I also agree with Grant, the logo looks better in use like on his skateboard decks, but I don’t think its strong on its own.

I do think it would be better if the I/l came down and wrapped around the bottom of of the e, instead of stopping in the middle, that just makes it look a little awkward.

Also, the a and c remind me of the font that ABC uses, you can’t beat some Paul Rand for inspiration.

Hi guys!

thank you for your answers!
My name is Isaac, with 2 “a” and only one “s”.
They put wrong my name.

I know that is not an original logo. It was not my intention. My works should be the protagonists.

I know that the logo does not like the whole world, but it works for me and that’s important.

Thank you and sorry for my english!

The tight framing on this logo doesn’t do it justice. Love your logo and your portfolio is a great inspiration.

Cheers to Isaac. It’s not easy designing a logo for yourself, it’s much easier to design for a client. It also takes balls to put you work out there to be critiqued. You have a nice site.

The logo is not effective because it is not simple, not memorable, not timeless en not versatile. If you don’t know his name, the logo is not recognizable. But it is a good signature for the website.

I think that it is a good logo and I think it is simple and modern. Maybe is not the best logo, but it is good! I love your portfolio, is inspirational!

About the first comment…”like picture dentist’s office.” You are crazy! you guys are harsh!

Good works Isaac!

If you check out his website, the logo appears much more effective, (check out his business cards) Here it looks really flat, but with the gradient it makes all the difference.
