Logo Of The Day Award Winner:

2009-06-13 | Idea

“Logo was made for firm that was going to do interiors for boutiques, sport shops, shopping malls, etc, with existing basic elements composed together according to presented space. Unfortunately, the firm never went in business but the logo stayed.

Letters “IDEA” are created of identical rectangle and round shapes suggesting original way to compose something interesting with elements at hand. Bird’s eye view relates to process of architectural designing. Logo is saying “It’s a good idea!” without using light bulb.”

I too like the way the letter “D” and “A” has been presented.

I read the word ‘IDEA’ without any trouble – in my opinion that makes it a great logo especially as no actual lettering was used!

logo is really nice, nice concept, nice execution but i think the only thing lagged here was some colors, i would really liked to see some colors here as its for a firm which does interiors

I was able to read it without seeing the title, which is a huge plus.

I feel like the design is a bit chaotic. Probably could be solved by spacing the I and D a little bit more.

All in all, I liked this logo. It is original, unique and (even if a bit farfetched) readable.

you could have flipped the ‘D’ to make a lower case ‘a’ and totally left off the ‘i’ giving you a more brandable icon rather than text. nice concept though.
