I needed an icon which could be used most of the time as a stand alone symbol, so combination of a cup cake and a pencil seemed like the perfect solution.”

It’s a cool concept, a cupcake and a pencil, a fat pencil but a pencil still. I’m sure you have tried making the edges of the lead sharp instead of following the contours of the cake. How did it look like? Did it look weird or did it look more like a pencil?
