“The logo represents my freelance business and my energetic personality. I grew up on video games and it seemed fitting that my freelance identity had something to do with that. From the moment you press start there is an energetic process that grows along side with my clients and myself. Creativity starts here, Just Press Start.”

Fax? I sold my fax machine 6 years ago. You can see the one color version on his site.

Nice mark Brandon.

Make it red, instant “Can’t let you do that, Dave” shirt design.

Pretty neat logo there.

I like it, good job. I like the colors and the circuitry especially. Also, the typeface works well with the computer look. I don’t know about the power button, the crescent doesn’t look like a start button to me. It looks more like a moon, like in the flags of Maldives or Mauritania. But a good job nonetheless.

It looks good, but I knew I had seen this somewhere before. Thought it was a car logo, and I asked on Twitter and @agentxcell (http://www.twitter.com/agentxcell) mentioned the Quake logo. http://almach238.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/quake_logo_1600×1200.jpg

Hey thanks for the comments everyone, It actually started off as an abstracted arcade button but was missing something, needed more energy. As it was developing I notice the resemblance of a Turkish flag, however I thought it still worked and was different enough to work.

Thanks for featuring my logo!

i really like your web site and your designs! I think this logo dont represent your work as a designer…in my opinion the big mistake is that you designed the logo for your self and not for your audiences/clients

Yeah, I agree with Labros. It looks very techy and video-gamey, and unless you’re wanting to focus on web or game design, you may be sending the wrong message to your potential clients. It seems that you have a good concept of pressing a button and watching the magic happen, but I think the route that you took to express that is an ineffective one.

Also, be sure to proofread your website. The “About” page has a couple of typos, and I know that’s a huge turn-off for a lot of people. Just watchin’ your back, man.
