First of all you are not harsh, and this is one of the reason why we have these logo showcase sites as well as the ability to comment… so you are always welcomed…

Second: let me describe the logo, even thou if you read the comments of several designers here, they have already found the description, but let me elaborate it in words. The symbol “Speech Bubble” represents saying… than we see this bubble from four sides: meaning opinions from all sides. then some are overlapped some simply dont (the facing ones – Blue vs Yellow & Red vs Green) the overlapping shows agreeing and facing each other shows difference of opinion (where they simply dont agree) and over all this all makes up shape, the white strokes combines unites them and puts them in one place… so this is all (Basically)

Hope now you understand…. and one more thing – its not the overlapping that represents youth, its the colors which are so live, and fresh and web 2 kind… so this is what represents youth…

This logo “chat bubbles that overlap” to ME doesn’t express “youth” and or “solutions” Yes it is clear that chat bubbles is a generic way to show “chat” and or “forum”.

When I look at a logo for the most part (not all) It should be able to tell me something. You had to explain what the overlapping of the bubbles mean. I agree sometimes you need to give a detail explanation of certain design decisions but it should be able to express some of that within the logo or mark without having to tell people. I know some may agree with me and some will not. When it all comes does to it…it’s an opinion.
