“Ardent Training Systems is the tactical firearms and combatives training system of Paul Wages. The website is still under development.
Ardent – means “burning” so it’s an allusion to firearms and the determination of a warrior’s psychology. The shape combines the look of an “A” with that of stylized, machine-like flames. The overall shape is also reminiscent of a sharp or bladed weapon (the training system also incorporates elements of knife fighting).
The values of the brand are communicated without resorting to traditional firearms iconography.”

A very rugged logo, perfect for a business linked to firearms.
I saw scisors, then something I preffer not naming.
it’s a nice logo nonetheless, but could have used some more work.
ooOOOooo that’s very nice
Yep, thumbs up! Very rugged and military looking imo. nice font too. The only thing I would redo is the spacing between the letters.
Good work here – I think a minor bit of tweaking would really set this logo off. Not sure what it is, maybe a bit too heavy? Not sure, but I like the stylized flame/blade look.
Love the icon and it’s symbolic power. Might be too strong for the text below, so I might have balanced it differently.
Simply put: I like it.
I like it.
I really like this logo. It just stood out to me.
Looks great
Looks very official.
I like it.
I think it looks great!
I really like this logo. I can see and agree with everything you mentioned trying to achieve with this logo; The ‘A’, blade and flames. In addition to that the two mirrored shapes look sort of like hands clashing against each other which also ties into the combat training. I agree with some of the comments that the icon is a little two strong for the text. Maybe if those “hand” shapes were a little thinner. But overall, right on!
this is pretty cool~ a bit of the transformers vibe?!
