“For branding me, myself and I. In use on my personal portfolio site, resume, business cards, etc. It’s just a unique monogram that hints at not only my initials (beginning with a backwards “r”), but also a fountain (spew forth those creative ideas!) and a jester hat (hey, I like to have fun).”

Interresting concept. I see the jester hat more than anything else. I don’t really see the initials, that could be reffined IMO.

Overall nice logo. Not perfect but really nice nontheless.

I wish this logo was a little more exciting, especially for something personal. Other than that, I am able to recognize that it is your initials, and it’s executed well. There’s a good balance, and I like the orange color.

Not terrible, not spectacular. Perhaps the letterform in the middle should be shifted right until the touches the other. It would create a more distinctive F and add a bit of tension to the spacing, which is a bit dull right now.

Hello all and thanks for the feedback. I appreciate your candid comments.

I didn’t want the initials to pop out too much or be too obvious (i.e. not using a literal “F”). Also, I know it’ll never be a “Nike Swoosh” that can stand alone and, for this reason, is almost always paired with my name.

I’m currently overhauling my site and changing some type/design elements, but my little orange square remains the same.

I like this logo design overall, especially if it is ALWAYS paired with the designer’s name. The only problem is that I noticed the designer doesn’t always use his middle initial “f”, which could lead to some confusion in some circumstances.

Very good point, SuperDave. Quite a web I weave, isn’t it? I would hate to always go by my full name because it seems so formal, which isn’t me. No other domain variation of my name is available, though.

Most people call me Robert Frusso, as I’ve discussed with David Airey on his blog…

Now I’m back to thinking I should change my name. Maybe just a brand alias?
