“The church was needing a logo mark that correlated with the phrase “Enriching lives through Christ” after going for months with nothing to symbolize the word enriching we thought of a crown. The blue and gold are very royal looking colors.”

You can see the logo on signage here.

Looks like a logo for a hotel… the font and colors. The big crown scares me a little.

Yep… churches are a business, and they need strong identities to sell their crappy stuff to the people, like all others brands.

This is about the logo, binocle. Lets try and keep our opinions about church and religion to ourselves.
Personally, I don’t find the image of the crown works very well for a name like “Ambassador”.

I agree with ESchultz.
At first glance it doesn’t look like a logo for a church. And I think that the crown should be more subtle. And if you place “baptist church” a little bit more down it gives is more air to breathe. It looks stuffed together.

Wow, a wee bit over the top. Doesn’t feel very welcoming

BInocle, obviously didn’t think before you typed there??!! Do you really want offend 2,244,000,000 people?

QF, haha nice.

I don’t intend to offend anyone.

My concern is churches selling themselves as they were business companies, and this one does not even make this well…

At first glance, I saw a city, not a crown – as in
Matt. 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Which I feel is a bit more appropriate for a church.
i agree with Jeroen about the “baptist church” being stuffed together.
I think purple, or deep red are a more royal choices than navy blue which is cold and businesslike. Christianity and churches should be warm and accepting.

Overall I think this logo will cause mixed messages. I wouldn’t want people thinking I’m high and mighty if I’m a christian.

This doesn’t look like a church that I’d want to attend. It actually makes me want to run the other way. The logo looks like it belongs to a place that would want me to “donate” a lot of my money. I agree with binocle.

Hi I am the designer of this logo… stop I know what you are thinking. “Man, you really stink.” Personally I am really depressed about how this looks… I agree it looks horrible the colors are neon bright. Please take a look at this it is another photo of it in real life…

If you look underneath we needed a symbol that said “Enriching lives through Christ” So FundamentalMedia. We were not trying to build a logo off of Ambassador but off of the phrase “Enriching lives through Christ.”

Again I kinda wish I wouldn’t have submitted this logo now because it really came out looking really bad to say the least. The actual colors are darker. Well, anyways the church loves the logo they will put it on about 50,000 different items this year.

Also this church is amazing! Lives are being helped everyday marriages are being put back together, teens getting off the streets, lives given purpose. And no they are not all about money they are all about helping people.

Again I am very appreciative of logo of the day they do a great job a providing great inspiration on a daily basis.

I’d like to know what is good about this one ? Jacob ? Jeff ? if you could share us 2 lines of what attracted you here, I’d be curious to know because i really don’t see what is exceptionnal about this logo.

I’m not saying its bad, but i dont see the appeal ?

Maybe there’s something I’m not seeing.

lets put atheism aside and the whole “Martin Luther” manifest aside shall we

Blue and Gold were, are, and will be the royaltie’s colors. they rhyme with rich and powerful

The stylised church crown looks great.

all in all, this logo brushes with perfection. If the customer was happy, it gets my 5/5 mark.

I still think a church using those symbols (even for spiritual enrichment) is biased ;)

All religious feelings aside, I think the ‘D’ and the ‘O’ are bit too wide. Also, it was probably a total accident that the letters SS are almost directly under the cross/sword in the middle of the mark. Even so, I find it interesting…

This is totally awesome! I have seen many designs and logos in my day and this one is very fitting. The Bible says we are working for a crown; so this is like seeing my motivation to live every time I go to church. Stroke of genius!

Any of you yahoos got anything this good then step up and stop whining about another artist work. (I meant that is the nicest way…really;)
