But technically it reads as "sloop" especially when staring at it. If it's part of the plan, it is definitely a great design since it forces the audience to have a second thought and make itself memorable to the viewer by creating a controversy and gain exposure. The viewer gets to spend a little more time looking at the logo. Not to mention, once you know what it says, you can't forget it. The majority of the general public never even knew an arrow was a part of the FedEx logo. But once they did, it quickly become one of the most talked about and clever logotypes out there.
