I think the swirly right side that looks like letter m is not needed.

Dreadful. Not even close to approximating the only logo that ever made use of a head of hair to spell out its name: that for the movie, “Shampoo.”

I actualy understand that it’s a capital “M” with a lower case “n”

I think it doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It’s not a masterpiece but it’s still kinda good.

‘Mn’ is a ladies hairdressers in Corfu Island, Greece.
The name ‘Mn’ was inspired by the owners name initials.

‘Mn’ is visually represented with the M showing a female hairdo inspired from 1970’s. A contemporary, visual representation of this hairstyle gives the logo a fresh design, which at the same time expresses the sensualism and freedom of the 70’s.

Chris,
Thanks for the clarifications, someone really likes your logo designs to say the least (they keep submitting them). Glad you stopped by, please do not be disheartened by people’s comments.

I would also be interested in knowing if the 70’s factor was something requested by the client?

Or it’s me, or im f* up. But i see <3 in it. I loved the view of the hair, altough i didnt see the letters MN in it, just after i read it. And the N looks more like a M. But that also could me just me…

Great mark and very conceptual. Works for me!

Love the concept and the chosen colour just seems ‘right.’ However the ‘n’ could have been implemented more clearly.

I really like this logo… the objective is very obvious… the hair… the letter M… it all works so very well! My only (slight) criticism is that the N actually gets lost and looks more like another M. But other than that, it’s one of my favorites on this site.
