“Sertifi provides the leading On-Demand Electronic Signature Service enabling organizations to quickly deliver and execute business documents and contracts online. I feel that it is a strong mark, with good metaphors of contracting (reaching hands), security (closed shape) and clever use of negative space (it forms an “S” letter).
Sertifi asked me to communicate that the process of sending and signing documents online & for it to be environmentally friendly, so this request affected the color choice and overall softness of the logo.
The logo is in use on their website but the client wanted a different typeface for the logo.”

I think this logo is a great idea, but I’m left wondering if anyone noticed that there are only four fingers?

Well done, nice logo, nice analogy.
I like it… too bad about your client mad you change the font. Fools!
Hmm, sorry but…. I LOVE IT.
It’t smart use of the white spach with the hands, it just -amazing-. (btw, i love your type more then on the site ><)

yep, love it
suck ups!
If it gets much smaller – it will lose detail and the breaks between the fingers and the hand will get pinched.
It’s an okay logo but it’s not super awesome.
The 4 fingers are not an issue as someone above pointed out – have you ever – ever watched a cartoon at least once in your life? Rarely ever does a cartoon character ever have 5 fingers on one hand.
3 or 4 is the rule of thumb. Fast drawing and limited space do not allow for correct proportions when rendering hands via line-art.
Yes – companies like The United Way or Allstate have 5 fingers in their designs – but they are distorted.
